Welcome to this Quick Cup

Welcome to the Quick Cup #sixpack CUP #1.

Quick Cups are created and maintained by ClanBase users themselves. If you're looking for a short tournament that could only last an evening, you're in the right place!

The Quick Cup is started by the organizor (the creator) of the Quick Cup, who is displayed in "Contact" box on the left. Depending on the size, a Quick Cup may last as little as only a few hours. Larger Quick Cups or may last up to 2 weeks. Any Quick Cup that hasn't been finished within 2 weeks will be closed automatically.

Enemy Down Day of Defeat Source League - Season #3

We are proud to announce that registrations for the third season of the Enemy Down Day of Defeat Source League (EDDODSL #3) are now open.

Event Information:

Teams will be split into groups of six, based on their current ranking in the community.
The event will not be randomly drawn as EDDODSL #2 was.

Registrations will be open until Sunday 5th October or when the event is full.

The Event will begin on Sunday 12th September at 20:00 CET.
Teams should always attempt to play their match on the pre-arranged date/time each week, please consult the event rules for the action to take when this is not possible.

Event Schedule:

2x20 Minute Rounds

Week 1 - Sunday 12th October - Thursday 16th October
Week 2 - Sunday 19th October - Thursday 23rd October
Week 3 - Sunday 26th October - Thursday 30th October
Week 4 - Sunday 2nd November - Thursday 6th November
Week 5 - Sunday 9th November - Thursday 13th November

Event Rules:

1 - All normal Enemy Down & specific DoD Source rules apply unless otherwise stated in this section.

2 - It is the away team's responsibility to contact the home team to test their server at least 24 hours prior to the match start date/time.
If you experience any problems you can contact an admin who will attempt to arrange for the match to be played on a neutral server.

3 - Rescheduling is allowed but matches MUST be played BEFORE the following Friday.
It is up to the teams involved to come to an agreement and post in the match notes the new date and time. Please also inform an admin if you need to or have re-scheduled a match.
There will be a catch-up week at the end of the event for any outstanding fixtures, we are doing this to help prevent default victories.

Please note that if you need to re-schedule a fixture you must give at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time.
Team's that simply do not show and make the other team waste time by waiting should expect to default the match and potentially be removed from the event.

4 - The scoring system will be as follows: (full cap scoring for all matches)

3 points for a win
1 point for a draw (tickpoints are ignored in this event)
0 points for a loss

5 - The ed20.cfg must be used for all matches.

6 - Default victories are awarded as 1-0.

7 - X-Ray is mandatory, in-eye demos must be recorded if SourceTV is unavailable.

8 - Demos, end-round and 'rcon status' screenshots must be kept for the duration of the event plus an additional two weeks.

9 - zBlock may not be used along with any other plugin that alters the settings of the ED match config.

The conclusion of this event will take us directly into our cash prize Winter Event, details of which will be announced in due coure.
